Matching POF film to a sealing and shrinking process
Provide the product dimensions, shape, sealing equipment and shrink process. Confirm the film format, width and thickness and ask for a sample compatible with the equipment. Trial sensitive products carefully and request relevant compliance documentation when needed. The catalogue gives no universal sealing or tunnel temperature; use the equipment and grade-specific instructions.
Include protrusions, gaps and changes in product height when describing the pack. A simple length-and-width measurement may miss the clearance needed for loading and sealing. Send a photograph or sample of the intended grouped arrangement where possible.
Confirm how the film is supplied and fed into the equipment. Check roll dimensions and the available space for the finished pack. Ask the equipment and film suppliers to clarify compatibility before attempting settings outside the equipment guidance.
Approve a finished sample, not just the unused film. Examine seal integrity, wrinkles, label readability and the condition of the contents after normal handling. Keep the agreed film specification and operating record together for later production runs.
Confirm your specification
Specify width, thickness, roll length or net material weight, core size, colour, packing, quantity and destination. Final dimensions and performance are confirmed by the sample and order.
Product details are based on the GUDE catalogue and supplied photographs; operating guidance is general and must be verified on your equipment.
